The archivme account is optional. You do not need one to use archivme apps. And you can still synchronize data through iTunes. The archivme account is important to activate Dropbox account (soon iCloud) and cloud sync. It enables us to check and be sure that you synchronize and backup the same account on Dropbox.

First, you need to create an archivme account using an existing email and password. Then, select the Dropbox Sync option and add your Dropbox account information on mobile apps. For OSX Lion, the default Dropbox folder is selected so you have nothing to do.


General FAQ for archivme

Where can I download archivme for Mac?

archivme is a OSX App and currently available on the Mac App Store only. You can download our app by launching the Mac App Store App in Lion and searching for "archivme" in the search field or by clicking the link here.

Why do I need to create an archivme account?

How do I sync with Dropbox?

What is the Airzone?

In OSX Lion App, the Airzone is a drag-and-drop zone where your pdf files can be auto-imported. Some suppliers are automatically extracted with month and amount data as well. This feature only works for native PDF Files and some suppliers. Complete list is available here (soon).

What is the Dropzone?

The Dropzone is a special folder created into your dropbox. When you add documents and invoices (PDF files) within that folder, and when you launch archivme iOS apps (iPhone & iPad), you will be able to quickly add the documents to your archivme. Dropzone was especially created for PC users the need a simple way to wirelessly imports invoices and documents to their iPhone and iPad.

Do you have a free version of archivme HD for iPad?

No. But you can always try a limited but free version called archivme free for iPhone. This version is limited to 10 files. It is available in the iTunes App Store by searching for "archivme free" in the search field or by clicking the link here. Please note that archivme HD is completely redesigned for iPad and iPad2. With much more options than archivme for iPhone.

How do I add a file?

You have different options to add a file into archivme HD for iPad. First, you can choose the "add" button at the top right corner of the app. You can either choose to take a new camera scan (iPad 2 only) or select on existing picture from the library. You can also choose to open a new pdf document with archivme using the "open with" feature in mail app or other compatible apps. Finally, you can import documents with the Dropzone folder when you add a Dropbox account.

archivme for OSX Lion

Is it for Mac OSX Lion only?

Yes. archivme works exclusively on OSX Lion (10.7) version and above. It features exclusive functions of OSX Lion such as Sandboxing for protecting your data, and soon iCloud.

Do you have a PC version?

No. There is curently no PC version of archivme. If you would like to be able to sync with your PC, please refer to the Dropzone feature or request a PC app in the Feedback section.
